AC may become a concentrated source of the very pollutants you're trying to escape.

Most of us view the AC as a refuge from heat and dust, but without proper management, your cooling system can become a concentrated source of the very pollutants you're trying to escape.

In my latest radio talk show at at radio city, I talk about AC and air quality data, having these conversations is one critical way to drive better policy adoptions. It is partly giving the data collected a voice .

Few ways to keep safe as an ardent user of AC:

1. Service Your Filters Monthly: AC units trap dust and particulate matter PM 2.5. A clogged filter doesn’t just stop cooling; it can release concentrated pollutants back into your space.

2. The 15-Minute Flush: Never keep a room sealed 24/7. Open your windows for at least 15 minutes a day to flush out CO_2 and bring in fresh oxygen.

3. Most importantly: Use one of our portable monitors to see if your indoor air is actually cleaner than the air outside, let's have data driven policy demands: https://lnkd.in/d6pSzEWS
